Emacs

Over the last few weeks I’ve been slowly but surely switching from neovim over to emacs. I might end up only using it for work, but the idea of an integrated (text) browser with ewww, org mode and especially org roam for interconnected instant note taking and org agenda for organizing all my todos, feels really comprehensive to me. Here I want to organize what I’m currently using, what I intend to use (and how) and what doesn’t work (yet).

Currently using

  • Emacs Kick
  • LSP Marksman
  • org-roam
  • custom agenda views

Want to use

  • Ellama (summarize course, book and journalism snippets)
  • jira.el (update Jira-items from work in emacs)
  • More custom agenda views
    • todos created/scheduled/deadline today
    • todos scheduled/deadline tomorrow

Modularize Emacs-Kick and personal additions

  • Divide Emacs Kick in logical components
  • Put each personally added plugin in its own file
  • Put personal options (maybe by category) in their own file
