Building a malware environment for development and analysis

Ideas

• Convert Windows work laptop to handy virtualization environment (Arch Linux (Arch Riot w. Hyprland))
  • pros:
    • plenty of RAM
    • hopefully less (constant) power usage
  • cons:
    • ‘Another’ computer to use, instead of consolidating to one/two
• Repurpose Acer Veriton L4630G to proxmox virtualization environment at home
  • pros:
    • less startup/setup once configured
    • accessible from any machine (handy for note taking)
  • cons:
    • VPN or other secure access remotely
    • Old hardware, less RAM
